Hi Scotty. You are my go to online mechanic. HaHa. Use a congressman pic when you do your HA HA. Have a 2008 Yukon Denali with 6.2 engine and 6 speed transmission. Got P0724 code. Transmission shifts fine and appears OK. What do you think? Also I took your advice and change transmission oil at 77 thousands miles. Did not flush. Now have 115 thousand miles. Should I change the trans fluid now. I am 67 and want to make this SUV last my life. All previous owned Yukons the transmission was the weak point after 9-10 years.

Also, I would change (drain and fill along with filter change) every 40,000-50,000 miles, but no harm done going every 40,000 miles (that’s what I do on my GM truck). For you it’s been ~38,000 miles since the last drain/fill, so getting near that time again.
