Hi Scotty, I have a 2008 Chevy HHR with a 2.4 and an automatic with 180,000 miles. All of the engine seals and gaskets were replaced about 20,000 miles ago. The engine does not use any oil. Should I be using High Milage full synthetic oil?
I also have a 2013 Hyundai Elantra with a 2.4 and an automatic with 120,000 miles that still does not use oil. Should I start using high mileage full synthetic oil?

High mileage oil purportedly contains "seal conditioners" to prevent or reduce leaks. It's primarily a marketing tactic - high mileage oil won't make a significant difference one way or another.

Use the normal oil. Whatever your manual says.
