My RPM is at 1000-900 when i start in idle state....Ford focus SES 2008- driven 90k kms..plz suggest me what should i do
900-1,000 isn’t high idle at all IMO, at start that’s much lower then most cars.
Also, Is it an auto? Cause if it’s an auto that’s just how it is

Does it go down when the engine warms up?

Usually, computer controlled fuel injected engines start out around 1700 rpm and slowly come down to about 700 rpm as they warm up. Your cold start rpm sounds too low to me.
