Hi Scotty and Community,
Which vehicle is a better choice for Long Term reliability?
2021 Highlander V6 FWD
or
2021 4Runner 4X4

Well they’re both too new to know the real long term reliability.
However, going by their track record, the 2WD will theoretically last a little longer and cost lesser to fix owing to the lack of 4WD/AWD.
They are both excellent vehicles in their own right.
Don’t buy the 4x4 unless you absolutely positively require it.

Thanks! For 4Runners, the 2WD version is hard to find and I also hear that they have low resale value. Your thoughts?
