Hey Scotty, I moved from Nashville out to the middle of outback Australia 3 years ago. Getting rid of my Isuzu Rodeo 4WD and getting a Toyota Hilux 5th Gen. An old LN106 if I'm lucky. I Know you've mentioned how 4 cylinder turbos wear out quickly. The only options are 2.8L or 3L diesel motors, with or without a factory turbo. They do make a petrol V6 but they use more fuel and out here we only have Opal gasoline, people say it kills your engine over time. Which would you buy and do you know what they put in this Opal gasoline?

The turbo diesels are completely different that gasoline ones. Toyota makes excellent turbo diesel engine, I would not hesitate buying one.
