Hey Scotty, I have. 2013 Chevy Malibu with a 2.5, about 78k miles. It recently started making a hissing noise when I’m driving and I turn the steering wheel to the left, even if I do it slightly it hisses, it doesn’t do it when I turn it to the right, only the left. I checked the boots on the cv axles and they look fine, also the boots on the rack and pinion. Any idea what it could be?

Check power steering pump, have some turn wheel stopped while u look under hood. There is no vacuum lines involved,
