Hi Scotty.
I watched your youtube video and saw you bought a 2001 Honda Civic with the 1.5 turbo.
I have researched the issues of this engine, and know about the remedial software and special oil and oil change interval.
I am looking at a used Civic Sport Touring 2021 with 32,000 miles. I figure with the low miles, not much damage has occurred.
I can make sure the remedial software is installed as well as adhering to the recommended oil protocols.
Question: Do you still feel confident this engine will be ok ?
We are retired and no longer drag race, lol.

Yes, it should be reliable as long as you change the oil every 5,000 mi and use full synthetic oil and a synthetic oil filter.
