I have a 2004 Honda accord cl7 with turbo diesel 2.2 liter ctd-i engine with a manual transmission.
My problem is that my engine idles well but while i give it a little bit of revs, it doesnt hold it( revs change). So lets say i try to hold it at 1500 rpm and it suddenly just highers or lowers the rpm by around 300 rpm.
What could be causing it? I bought a new air filter just in case but it didnt help. Im suspecting its a maf sensor or something along those lines.
Thanks in advance.
Modern diesels are very complex machines as they are all computer run unlike the older mechanical diesels. You best bet would be to find a guy like me with a Honda dealer level scan tool to analyze all the Diesel injection system to see if perhaps one of the injectors is having problems
