Should I keep my Accord

Bought a 2017 Honda Accord V6 new. Now have 220,000 miles mostly hiway miles. Ready for the 2nd timing belt replacement. Car is amazing, still like new. Very well maintained. Should I spend the $1200 and replace the timing belt again OR just trade in for a new Accord while my 2017 still has some value? Appreciate your opinion. Im inclined to keep it for another 100,000 miles.

I personally would run it until the wheels fall off

Congrats on 200K+ miles in only 5-6 years! It depends how much the trade in value is. With that high mileage, I don’t think they value trade ins as much as if it were significantly lower.

In general, I would keep it going and run it until the wheels fall off.

If you trade it in at that mileage, you may as well just give it to them for free.

You are far better off selling it yourself, and then talking the dealer down as much as you can on a new one.

With that many highway miles, I would think you are far better off just doing the timing belt and driving it another 100k, or more. If I were you, I would buy the oem timing belt kit, and have a good local shop do it, it would be much cheaper.
