Purchased a vehicle from a private seller. Second day I own the car it stops running. Prior to the total failure, the car had P0303 and P0420. I have replaced the following and it still does not run.
-Fuel filter
-Spark plugs
-Wires running from distributor assembly to Spark plugs
-Entire Distributor assembly
-PGM-FI Main relay
-ECU
First car. No clue where to go from here.
If you look on your fuel rail, you should see something that looks like an air fill line for a bicycle tire. It may have a black cap on it. Google your car and fuel rail test port to get an idea of what your looking for. Use a screw or small screwdriver to push the pin in. If fuel squirts out you have fuel pressure, if it dribbles out the you have a fuel delivery problem. Check yournfuel pump relay and fuse. Relay you can usually swap with something not needed to run the car. Like wipers or AC Clutch, just to see if its bad.
