Help me please!!! My air blower got a lot of loud noise so I took it off and tried to put some oil in it. But when I plugged it back again, it couldnt run and released some white smoke. So I thought my air blower was burnt and gone. So I bought a new air blower. I plugged it in and it is still not running with a new air blower. Could you please help me? Its a honda civic 2014 LX 4 doors. Is it because the resistor got burnt? Or the car computer got a signal not to run the air blower? Thank you for your help!

yes get another resistor also check the fuse and relay you put oil on it that conducts electricity could have fried the whole electrical system for the fans

Would WD40 or a contact cleaner be a worthy effort?

@jimz
Hi. I put wd40. I dont think its worth it. Just get a new fan is the cheapest. Now i have to pay for the resistor or even fix the whole system.

Good you can do this yourself. Good Luck!
