im getting my first car so i found a honda civic 2009 has 141m should i get it or not , also what car should i get under 9k
First off I would never pay 9 grand for a 12 year old Honda Civic. I assume it is a lot less. They are very reliable cars but the 2006 had engine block issues which was solved in 2007/2008. If you could get it for a good price they are excellent cars just look for common problems and here is the key: have a mechanic check it out pre-purchase and make sure it is in great mechanical condition, you never know what you will find.
Check this site for common problems: https://www.carcomplaints.com/Honda/Civic/2009/
Other good first cars include 2004-2008 Toyota Corolla, 2011-2013 Toyota Corolla, 2003-2006 Toyota Camry, 2009-2011 Honda Civic, 2007 Toyota Highlander, 2009-2012 Toyota Rav4, 2009 Honda CR-V, 2007-2008 Honda Pilot.
You said 9 grand so if you could find a 2015-2016 Toyota Corolla, 2013-2015 Honda Civic, or 2012-2017 Toyota Camry in that price range, those would also be excellent buys.
Sorry im not from usa but the Toyota in my country is soo expensive so probably im gonna stick with honda civic
Lmao how elantra and accent have less problems than civics ?
Elantra and Accents definetly fall apart compared to Civics I would stick to the Civic then.
Do you recommend a ford fiesta 16,17 seems they are good on this website
For your first car, get a Corolla or manual civic. If they are expensive there, Ford crown Vic is good too.
No the Fiestas have junky automatic transmission unless it is a manual transmission with very low miles they won't last long civic especially w/ a manual transmission is your best bet for a first car.
Start off with searching the forum for ‘first car’. https://carkiller.com/scottykilmer/qa/first-car-suggestion-please/#post-31969
That civic is overpriced.
Stick to Corollas & Civics for a good cheap first car. No matter what you buy, have it inspected by a reputed mechanic first, before you buy it.
The Civic is not 9 grand he is asking for suggestions of cars under 9 grand if the civic indeed is 9 grand then I would like to see the listing because it is worth no more than half that.
Well if you are in California it could be listed for 7 8 grand but usually 4 5 grand is the value of those things I believe.
Yeah if he meant 9 grand, it isn’t worth it. I wouldn’t pay more than $5000 for a high mileage 09 Civic.
For 9 grand you can easily find a 2013 Honda Civic which is basically just as reliable as the 2009 Civic. Really the only difference is the fact that the 2013 comes standard with Bluetooth and a little backup camera even on the base models and they’re better looking. but if you don’t care about that stuff, save a few grand and get a 2007-2011
