will it stop the oil leak from the head gasket that it has?

Really depends on how bad the leak is. If your gasket is full blown then replacement is the only way. If you are strapped for cash, this type of solution works as a stop gap but is not a permanent one. You will still have to replace the gasket eventually if you plan to keep the car. not to mention that you want to have clean fluids before adding this solution. Or else there be chance it will clog stuff up. Depending on the instructions and your car there might also be a procedure. Google it before trying to just pour it in and pray it works.
