Honda Civic Valvoline Max Life ATF

Scotty, just purchased a 2007 Honda Civic cream puff with 37,000 miles. Changed all the fluids. I heard good things about Valvoline Max Life ATF. After being reassured by Valvoline Customer Service and my local AutoZone guys I did several drain and fills to migrate to the Valvoline ATF fluid. Now I'm having second thoughts and thinking maybe a full synthetic after market fluid was a bad choice. Not sleeping at night! Please tell me should I stay with Valvoline Max Life or drain it and go back to the Honda OEM fluid?

Thank you so much!

Hondas are known for their weak automatic transmissions.  I would stick with the OEM fluid and not mess around.

Best to use OEM fluids and parts.  OEM fluids don't cost much more and are designed for your vehicle.  For all electronics and sensors I also use OEMs.  I know I overpay, but don't have problems sleeping :).
