Hi Scotty, I recently purchased a 2025 Honda CR-V , EX-L and noticed it had no heat-insulation pad. Is that important enough to buy a pad or is it unnecessary with that vehicle ? I watch your YouTube video's and enjoy them thank you.

it helps keep the noise down. You can buy it on Amazon if you want.

It would be unnecessary if you ask Honda for sure. I think Honda just got cheesy. With the constant fight for lower emissions and higher mpg car makers have been reducing weight any way they possibly can.is it unnecessary with that vehicle ?
Manufacturers have used those hood pads to dampen engine bay noise for years.
