Whats the deal with the air conditioning on these second gen CRV's? How many of them actually end up having problems with the aircon and at what mileage? Would I be better off getting a RAV4 to avoid the potentially expensive aircon fix? I found a 2006 for Honda CRV EX sport for $5400 with 128k miles on it and a 2005 Toyota RAV4 Sport with 154k miles on it for $5,000.
Looking for my first vehicle. Any help would be appreciated!

They're both good cars but I get around for if you need AC
So my question was do all the Honda CRV 2006's have air conditioning problems or am I taking a risk purchasing it if it hasn't been replaced yet?
