Hi scotty I have a honda crv 2010 manual with 115.000 miles on the clock, I've been told by some people that I need to change my rear differential oil every 3 years, is that correct as I can't find it in the manual

Kind regards

The maintenance minder on your dashboard should trigger a code when the fluid needs changing.
If that's not working, changing fluid about every 45,000 miles should be enough.
It is not difficult if you are a do-it-yourselfer.

Hello!

It is known to me that water can come in rear differential on those SUVs. I'd be leery more about this. Perhaps @dan has more info.

Good luck!

Forgot to mention if diff fluid is worn, it shows as scratching while driving and shaking if you corner hard.

yep, if it ain't some sealed system requiring tools and a lot of manual labor - why not.
The differential also has greats and bearings, it also needs to have them properly lubed,

every 90ish thousand km.

If you've never done it, then 10 years is probably high time.
