Honda CRV Suspension Problem?

Hey Scotty, love your videos! I recently traded in my piece of junk 2011 Hyundai Sonata oil burner for a 2014 Honda CRV LX. So far I love the new car, but there is one strange thing with the ride quality. It’s no secret that the 4th Gen CRV isn’t the smoothest ride in the world, but at times it feels like I feel every single bump in the road no matter how big or small. It seems to take pot holes and small bumps very poorly, like all vibration goes right into the cabin.

The struts aren’t leaking, radiator mount seems fine, newer Michelin tires at the correct PSI. What else could it be?

Depends on where and how it was driven, the struts might be worn out.

Struts can be worn out without leaking.

  • Do you have stock size tires and rims? Pressure adjusted?
  • control arms and bushings in good shape?
  • Stabilizer bar links and bushings in good shape?
