Honda HRV making whistling noise

Hey Scotty, I drive a 2018 Honda HRV LX AWD with a CVT transmission with 31k miles. I recently went to my mechanic and replaced my serpentine belt. I noticed a few days ago when i accelerate the car, i hear a whistling noise coming from the engine. What do you think it may be?

Can you make a YouTube video of the noise & post the link here?

Maybe, just maybe, it's the wrong belt for the vehicle. One could get both extra sound and heat from a belt that was only an approximate fit, rather than an exact replacement.  That's one possibility.

Another possibility is that it's a cheap Chinesium belt, rather than a quality belt. Just like brake pads, there's a significant quality difference between cheap and good belts. Cheap belts, like cheap brake pads, are noisy.

The third possibility is, of course, that this sound is something new, and has nothing to do with the belts. Hard to say without any direct evidence.
