Hi I know the jazz is very reliable, but I don't want to buy a car which is targeted for women (no hate but you know i'm a dude)
Oh, yes. Honda dealers are not allowed to sell them to men, or women who indicate they may be driven by men.
Manly men are only allowed to own or drive cars with a minimum of 300 horsepower, capable of attaining speeds that will result in felony traffic violations.
Okok got the note, but man I was just asking cause it's the first car I don't want to f*** it up
I was told I needed to turn in my man card after I took over my wife's RX350 a while back. I drive a 4Runner now and had my card reissued.
I agree with @Glen_stet,
The Honda Fit is too tidy and organized, you need a men's car for it to groan every time you push it's start button, for it to consume liquids and call the "Social Lubricants". If a man sits in a Honda Fit his manly men bear tangling, log chopping muscles liquidize and nails immediately expand by 7 cm.
I'm guessing you're European? Cause I've never herd anyone ever care who's a car marketed to except in India.
Ye i'm western european but man i'm just asking cause you know i don't want to go the first day in university with everyone saying it looks weird or something. Also I don't India has to do with europe it's in the middle east or something
On my old car that I used to go to university I modified it to be a pink Fluence 1.5 dCi with a cat back (miss that car, lasted me 300,000km) and everyone though it was AMAZING. It got more attention and more love from everyone then my current black Volvo coupe.
It takes a real man to drive a pink car but it's so fun - everyone wanted to know more and talk about it.
Don't worry, People don't care too much about fragile masculinity - people love outstanding cars like pink cars, coupes, and ironic car modifications.
If you never herd a Renault diesel with a cat back it sounds like a machine gun “Beh, beh, Beh, beh, Beh” - not good or smooth but super special 😁
IMO, it leans towards being a chick car.
That said, I voted that it could be either a man or woman's car because I'm not really the kind to give 2 cents about what others think.
If I need to get somewhere, and it can get me there, I'll drive just about whatever.
Thank you!!
Lol, it’s my sister’s daily driver..
With that said, I wouldn’t hesitate to drive it. But that’s just me..
The new one looks more feminine than the previous one, in my opinion.
Notions of "gender appropriate" cars are created by advertising, and in terms of "manly cars," often appeal to those whose self-notions or self-images are too easily influenced by promotional propaganda.
Are you referring to men that are "compensating" or going through "male menopause"? LOL
Both! 🙂
Its a car for those who don't know anything about cars and want a machine with 4 wheels, a steering wheel, and a practical one at that. I doubt they will even consider stereotypes of genders when buying it LOL. The "girl" car I can think of is a Mini Cooper but the Honda Jazz/Fit is a practical daily driver, sure a tiny one at that and most Americans (albeit mostly men) probably don't like it but its still a good car that IMO doesn't appeal to a certain gender more than the other.
Ye it is good for me then cause I just got my licence and I don't really know much about cars. Trying to learn though
The Honda Jazz is simply a point A to B car, nothing more. I don’t view it as a gender-tailored car. As a matter of fact, I would take that over a bunch of other unreliable, “manly”, [endless] money-pit cars.
That’s an old lady car. Lol my grandpa went to a Honda dealership to trade in his 1994 Accord and he asked for the cheapest new car they had. Thankfully he didn’t like the Honda Fit (that’s what we call the Jazz here in the USA) and he got a 2013 Honda Civic instead.
🤣🤣🤣
Well, it's gotta be more manly than a Fiat 500
She could afford the repairs on one of these.
Nah, she would just throw it away when it breaks.
