Honda Maintenance

Hello all

I'm new here and have a couple of questions. I have been both riding and driving Hondas since about 1976. Recently I had some more mechanical issues with my car and made a decision to get something newer.

I know I'll probably get grief for this but I found a car that I liked on Carvana. I will admit I was very skeptical about the whole idea at first but decided to give it a go and see what the experience was like. I got a 2017 Honda Accord EX Sedan with 20000 miles after selling my old Honda 2007 EXL Sedan that had 124000 miles on it. Currently I'm still in the 7 day window for a trial run with the car. The experience up to this point at least has been mostly positive and I am seriously considering keeping the vehicle. I don't have a lot of confidence in either the so called certified used cars or the Carvana version of the 150 point checklist. I have done an inspection of the car and I have to admit at least up to this point so far so good.

Now back to the original reason for being here I do have a couple of maintenance related questions.

1. At roughly 20800 miles what maintenance issues need to be addressed ( trans fluid change - power steering fluid change etc.)

2. Is there a maintainance schedule aside from the one in the owners manual that I should follow here.

Appreciate any feedback and information and thank you in advance.

Just maintain it by the manual and you'll be good. Normally ATF doesn't need to be changed until up around 60k miles or 5 years. You should still be good for now.

But yeah, no replacement for the factory maintenance schedule.
