I have a 2019 Honda Passport with 63K miles. I have had issues that started within a few months of purchase with crackling, popping, and shut off of Infotainment System. After several (several) trips and stays at dealership they ended up pulling out the dash and replacing all the wiring related to that system. I now have been experiencing issues with the idle stop system - the car will sometimes die (and not restart for several seconds up to several minutes) when it is trying to restart after it shuts off. My main question is does anyone know if this has been fixed in latest models? I cannot get a straight answer from Honda, most of the time they pretend there are no issues they know about. Trying to decide on getting another Honda or switching to a Toyota. Thank you.

While no automaker is perfect, and they are all past peak reliability unfortunately, I am not impressed by Honda’s design decisions. Their engineering leaves a little to be desired. I would honestly switch to Toyota.

That's a good indicator as to wether they have.

Get a Toyota, preferably a RAV4 not a highlander as those did have some issues.
Thank you for the comments. I have had several Honda's and hate that they are not as reliable.
