I have a 2003 honda pilot. 230,000 miles. The transmission revs up on take off sometimes and I put it in neutral then back in drive to get it to shift. I changed the transmission fluid and filter, then changed the transmission pressure switches number 3 and 4. It didn't act up for 2 days , but is doing it again. Can you tell me what the problem is? 😕
Your transmission is worn out. It's really nothing to complain about, 20 years and 230K miles is a pretty good run.
I'm not complaining, the motor is still great and everything else works good. Just want to know if it's the transmission solenoids or the transmission itself.

You'd need a mechanic or transmission specialist with a professional bidirectional scan tool to determine that. At that age and mileage though I'd expect the transmission to be worn. (Hondas of that time period are known for weak automatic transmissions.)
Get rid of it
