Hi Scotty! What do you think about a Honda Pilot Elite AWD 2017 automatic for 20,000$
The vehicle has 60,000 miles and I already checked with a mechanic and it has no problems at all.

Should I buy it?

Thanks Ansel

So I negotiated him down to 16,000$ and it’s been snowing a lot where I live. This doesn’t have that bad 9-speed so I’m going to get it.
Thanks for the help.

@ahr2006
Are you sure it doesn’t have the 9 speed ZF tranny? All Pilot Elites from 2016 to now still have the ZF 9 speed. Only the odyssey got the Honda designed 10 speed which is the better tranny.

Unfortunately it does, but the blue book value for this car is 28,000 and I got it for 16,000. My 2009 touring awd lasted me 300,000 miles so I bought it anyways.
No trouble codes, no nothing, so far it’s a great car bit I’ve only put in 1,000 miles.
Thanks for the help

Use KBB to see the car’s value. The price sounds too high...

The new pilots are pretty good. Avoid the 9 speed ZF transmissions, they are not so good.

Do you really need AWD where you live? I would look for a 2WD unless you absolutely have to have it.

Honda makes good AWD systems but still, it's added complexity that most people don't need.
