[Solved] Honda Pilot Internal Transmission filter

I have a 2007 honda pilot EX-L 4WD.  I have been changing the transmission fluid every 60,000 miles.  It goes in red and comes out black at each change.  I looked online and from what I can tell, there is a transmission fluid filter, but it is not serviceable.  It is buried somewhere between the engine and the transmission and can only be replaced by separating the engine from the transmission.  Can anyone confirm this?  the fact that the fluid comes out black is a bit troubling and I can't image the filter can filter indefinitely.  Is there anything I can add to the fluid that could somehow clean the filter?

If it has the "ridgeline" transmission which the odysseys used from 07-13 then no serviceable filter. You need to remove and dissemble  the transmission to access the filter. Just change the atf every 25k-30k miles with oem fluid and you should be fine.
