Honda Pilot shudder

Hello!

Last month my wife and I bought a 2015 Honda Pilot with 107k miles on it. About a week after getting the car I noticed the car had some vibration while accelerating, did some research, and ended up getting a SVCM because I thought maybe that was the culprit.

Alas, it was not. The vibration happens between 30-45mph and starts when the car gets into 3rd gear. I also notice it constantly when I’m driving at exactly 75mph. I switched the car to D3 and the car was making the same vibration despite being at higher RPMs. It feels like I’m driving over a constantly bumpy road and at times it feels like the car is misfiring.

no check engine lights and no stored codes. The car gets about 21mpg combined city and highway driving. Wondering if this is the torque converter, transmission, or something else?

thanks in advance!

Unfortunately , this vehicle is known for it's weak transmission. It pays to do research before buying a vehicle.

Anyway, there are some software updates which may or may not help. Ask your dealer or other high end shop.
