Well odds are the stereo itself is broken on the light circuit because the only fuse is for the entire system and if it works that would mean that is breaking down if you're really handy you might try taking it apart see if there's any LEDs or bulbs that you can replace but generally it's pretty much impossible to get that far into one of those modern stereo systems they're not made to be prepared just replaced

Thank you Scotty I guess the only way is to replace the whole stereo.

FWIW, Mine is broken too. The backlight fir the Odometer, clock, AC, and radio, are all broken. 1999 Accord.

In those old radios it is more than likely a light bulb behind the radio, but without a photo of the radio and even better some good drawing of it, it is hard to be sure.

I used to open many radios and they would have wires from the board run up to the display with a bulb stuffed in a silicone rubber hole in the back of the display or more than one bulb if it was big enough.

Open the lid on the stereo and take a look. That is how many manufacturers did it in those days.

Ford used a 37 or T5 lamp. This one is Fujitsu or panasonic and my guess is it might resemble the lamps that light the meters in cobra CB. Its worth investigating. Those lamps are all over Ebay
