Hey Scotty. I just saw your comment about disabling the Honda 3.5 L V6 engine’s VCM system. I own a 2017 Honda Odyssey SE with 51k miles. I change the oil every 5000 miles, and plan on making necessary maintenance when needed. I hope to drive this minivan for 200k miles without any major problems.
I’ve seen videos about after market VCM disablers. Can they cause any problems or damage the engine or transmission? Can the VCM system be disabled by programming the ECM? What would be the best option?
Thanks
- A quality disabler will not cause any damage. I would really be leary about getting a tune. That person really needs to know what they're doing .
Ok, which VCM disable device would you recommend?

I have good things about this one, but I personally do not have experience with it
