Hey Scotty, Thanks for doing this! I’ve been watching for awhile now and love your videos! I have a 2012 GMC Sierra. 5.3 with a transmission that when I accelerate the tranny slams down into gear. myself and passengers go flying forward. It seems to be a common issue with this tranny. What’s your take on it?
2012 GMC Sierra 5.3
Trim: SLE
Tranny: General Motors 6-Speed Automatic Transmission 6L80.
I bought the Diablo sport i3 programmer and switch the tranny to hard shift today. Seems a little better.

so harsh upshift or downshift?
Did you check the fluid level & condition? When is the last time the filter was changed?
Scan for diagnostic trouble codes. Check VSS & TPS signal.
