Honda civic touring hatchback 2019 After a minor corner side fender bender .Bumper has been replacee by non dealer &examed no damaged to radar housing .But was told cannot do reset of flashing sensing light needs dealer to do reset .However,dealer said need everything (radar sensing be replaced then reset).I wonder if any auto shop do reset without going through the dealer or dealer is telling the truth every time after collision need to replace entire radar.
Is there a cheaper alternative solution .thanks
I thought you're going to need parts and then have it reset but very few people can even touch that stuff because it requires super expensive equipment that only a dealer is going to spend money on.that's the problem with all that modern crap getting a little fender bender and can cost a fortune some modern windshields when they crack cost over $1,000 because of sensors and resetting them
