Honda’s new 10 speed transmission is awful

Hey this is more of a comment than a question. Just watched an older scotty video and he said if anyone has problems with the new honda 10 speed to say something. I have a '20 accord 26k miles with the k20 and 10 speed and the transmission is AWFUL. lugish as all get out and the worst downshifts( unless you're paddle shifting) the whole thing seems geared towards fuel economy and short shifts all the time even while in normal drive mode. The only way to get a smooth drive is sport mode+paddle shifting+ traction control off. I guess one question I do have is if anyone knows what the problem is or how I can fix it I'd be very appreciative. I assume it's a bad torque converter but im not sure.

Hyundai actually designs all their own transmission they generally do a decent job I'll go to Honda and see if there's any kind of reprogramming available for it

My 2020 Accord Sport 2.0T with the 10-speed has been flawless for 25k miles so far. Totally happy with it.

Sorry to hear of your troubles.

Is it behaving differently compared to your test drive of the vehicle, before you purchased it?

Are you able to check with another Accord which has the same engine & gearbox combo?

Have you had it looked at by Honda, since it’s still under warranty?

I have a friend who complains about his Honda 10 speed too, he hates that it's constantly  shifting trying to find the right gear.

thats how the ZF 10 speed works it shifts much faster than the 5 or 6 speed your used to. your right its all about fuel economy
