im 25 yrs old and looking to purchase my third car. i currently drive a 2013 dodge dart and want to step up to something more smooth and luxurious. i got my eyes on a mercedes benz CLA 250 or a Lexus ES 300/h. of course i want something luxurious but also reliable & will last me for a little while.. what car would you take ? i am going the used route so what’s the max miles a car should have if i’m looking for something no older than 7 yrs ? also what other advice & tips could you share when purchasing ? & good car sites .. i am purchasing in FL as well.
I would stick with Lexus or Acura if, as you say, reliability is of importance.
Between the ones you mentioned, Lexus is a better choice but it is hybrid and used hybrids, unless they are extremely low mileage and you don’t want to keep them a long time, are not good options due to the repair cost down the road. I would consider Lexus ES350 or Toyota Avalon if you want a luxury sedan.
