I have a 1990 Toyota Corolla dx with an automatic transmission, it has almost 86,000 miles on it now and I can’t find out when I should have a transmission flush, when would you recommend having one done

As long as the fluid isn't burned and gritty, indicating worn friction material in suspension, you can go ahead and change it. Don't flush though since that can cause damage. Just drain and refill.

I would just do the drain and refill. No flush.
