I can’t seem to see what’s going on with my car when I run it I drive it for 10 mins or so and it stalls then turns off. I changed the spark plugs the spark plug wires and the engine coils and I changed the valve cover gasket and it does the same thing. I also could hear air coming out of the air filter and when my car stops I check the spark plugs and they have carbon deposits and they’re new spark plugs. Also my car looses power and the rpm goes low and it makes a popping noise and it smells like gasoline. My car is a 2000 Mazda protege es 1.8L.
You are running rich. I would take care of the leak you got (around the air filter), clean the MAF sensor and throttle body as well.
