Hello Scotty! My name is Jesse, and I'm a big fan of the channel.

I have a 2016 Hyundai elantra GT,  So far it's been pretty good, I put a lot of Commute miles on it. Within the last week there is a new noise that sounds like a screech and comes out of the engine compartment. It only happens when I push the accelerator while I'm driving, its brief, but it happens every time i push the accelerator in motion, kind of like a whistle. I've also checked to see if I could recreate the screeching sound in park. It does make the same sound when I rev in park. If I start the car and drive off I don't hear it. it's only when the car is in motion and I punch The accelerator. What could it be?

Could be the serpentine belt. Have you ever changed it?

Classic fan belt noise.  Check your tensioner, idler pulley and all other pulleys for proper operation.
