  • Hi Scotty, so I recently got a flat, took it back to my garage and I took most of the lug nuts out to so I can replace my tire only two of them were stripped, I tried using a wheel extractor socket to remove the stripped lug nut, my breaker bar ended up breaking and now the extractor socket is stuck in with the stripped lug nut. the extractor socket is pretty shallow and it is not  enough to hammer it out with a good hit what are my options? Also the the breaker bar left it’s drive head in with the extractor.

can you post a photo?

cut the extractor off with an angle grinder, then keep going and grind the nut off, or use a nut-splitter. You're going to have to replace the stud anyway.

Thanks, will try it out !will post photo in a bit
