Got a 2001 ML320 for free.....212,000 miles put 850 in and it runs great....No codes, however I put Original KYM front shocks in and attempted to adjust the Torsion system.... There is no medium....Either it is so stiff it bunny hops or too soft and bottom outs....I took and checked the lower control arms and such, and everything is tight and in line....No clue why I cannot adjust this correctly......Any ideas.....
Wow that old parts are probably rusted worn out so you can't make it adjust correctly I would live with that it's a free Mercedes and probably soon something major will break and they'll go to the junkyard

Nope.....So Cal car born....No rust and adjusts perfectly, but just can't get it to work correctly, Have it up on Jack Stands, pulling things off....Torsion bar perfect...Not that there is anything that can go wrong there.....Lower and Upper control arm is perfect no play, very very tight. Lower and Upper Ball Joints tight no play....The front rather large Stabilzer bar bushings are pretty worn, so I got them and will be replaing them in the next few days, but for the life of me I cannot find anything wrong, can send pictures, but just wanted an opinion on it.....If nothing else, thanks....
