How do you fix code p1491 on 2000 Dodge Dakota Sport 3.9L?

My truck died while idling on a hot day and it showed the no bus code. It wouldn't start at all.  I did some research and replaced the pcm. It started! But now it's got a p1491 code which research tells me it's the radiator fan. The radiator fan works though. Is there anything else I can do before I take it to a shop?

Well, radiator fans don't cost that much. I'd replace the radiator fan cuz if it's going out it might have shorted out the computer and can ruin your new one. Also realize it could be anything in the wiring to the fan too or the relays that run it

Thank you for the reply Mr. Scotty. I have been a subscriber and watching your channel for many years now. I appreciate your wealth of knowledge from your 54 years of experience. 😊👍

I replaced the radiator fan but after clearing the code and restarting the truck, it still shows p1491 code. I had a difficult time with replacing it and it still doesn't work. I have checked the relays, fuses, wires... I just can't figure it out.
I still have a problem though. I don't have much money to be throwing at a car shop. There's a wire that seems like it should be connected to something that is branching off from the washer fluid level sensors connected to the side of the washer fluid reservoir. I can't figure it out and I've been staring at every angle in that area where it could reach and I just can't find it.
