How good are 2021 mazda cx30 with auto trans, and awd?
Scott really enjoy your videos, they are not only entertaining but informative..
You have posted 3 years ago regarding the dependability of a mazda cx5,are the 2021 models of mazda compact suv like the cx 30 any better with thier automatic transmission??
The Mazda designed 2.0L and 2.5L naturally aspirated engines (Skyactiv G) and their 6-speed regular automatic transmission (Skyactiv Drive) are excellent combos and have held up well. The same goes with their 2.5L turbo charged engine. The only thing to watch for is on their 2.5L naturally aspirated engine some trim packages came with cylinder deactivation; avoid those packages since cylinder deactivation is fairly new for Mazda and can potentially wear out/damage engine over time (and no way to currently disable it). You will have to check the brochure and also check online (i.e. Mazda forums) in case there was a typo on the brochure. Their other engines above do not have cylinder deactivation.
So does that mean that the CX3 does not have that problem? If its the 2.0L engine? (2017 or newer)
Mazda with their NA I4 engines with cylinder deactivation makes no sense. The turbocharged ones are better but I wouldn't recommend it because you're still modifying the engine which will wear out faster. I know they have a relationship with Toyota but I don't think Mazda will see a major improvement. They did improve from their previous vehicles to a certain degree.
