Aloha
Looking to get a 2004 Chevy Venture. V6, Automatic with 90k miles
Friend of mine willing to let me do payments. Was going to convert it to a camper. Until I found a new place here in Hawaii to rent.
How reliable are these engines and transmissions in these things? Have never heard scotty talk about the ventures in his videos.
Also another question. I need to bug bomb it. And let up roach traps and probably steam clean it before I convert it. How long should I wait after bombing before it's safe to use as a camper? And what's the best way in your opinion to rid of roaches. I guess they are common out here in Hawaii. Otherwise car seems clean.
This roach motel has got to be about the "best" in a long line of junkers and clunkers presented here.
The words "reliable" and "21-year-old Chevrolet Venture" generally do not belong together in the same sentence. However if it has been well-maintained it might have some life left in it. Good luck delousing it though. Cockroaches are hardy beasts that will probably still be around when the sun expands and physically destroys the earth billions of years from now.
