The Honda DI motors first showed up in US Accords in 2013 and other high volume cars (Civic, CR-V) around 2014. There are a lot of these cars with well over 100k+ miles and outside of warranty, but there aren't any complaints about carbon build-up. What's Honda's secret? I know they aren't doing Dual Injection like Toyota, so they must be doing something with timing or filtration in the PCB system.

That's a good question.
Also, I wonder if those turbo engines need valve adjustments like the others?
