I have a 2001 Toyota Corolla le that I bought recently because of Scotty and it has 132,000 miles and I put the last 2,000 on there so my question is wether I should get a transmission flush because I know the possible slipping issues but I want to take care of my transmission because I bought this car to last so what should I do at this point? by the way my transmission runs amazing at this point there’s no reason I should change it I just want to take good care of my car.
Even though they have just answered I will still take more feedback to learn more wether it’s on other Care for my car or anything else you can think of I’d appreciate the information
Do not flush it. Drain the fluid and add the same amount.
Please explain how that would be better than a flush I’m not criticizing just trying to get as much information as I can I’m 18
flushing may result in removing some of the possible metal debris that exist in the transmission and helps your old transmission. Removing these debris potentially results in slipping transmission.
Pull the pan change filter and refill with new fluid. Flushing stirs up dirt.
