Scotty love your videos, i have a 1994 mitsubishi lancer fuel injection 1.8 dohc manual 5 speed car, 2nd owner since 108,000km, mileage is now 667,244km. Still drives like new and so far very reliable with no problems, do you think that the high mileage means i should be worried the engine fails soon?how long could that engine last?

I would say you're already on borrowed time

You're already playing on bonus time. I'd be looking for another vehicle.

Drive it until your engine goes out if it may be tomorrow or if you are even luckier than you are now a good year or two.

I'd start researching for another car.

Do a wet & dry compression test to know the real shape of your engine.

But like the others have said, you’re on borrowed time.

Oh, and go buy a lottery ticket!
