Hi Scotty! I've been following you for years now, thank you for what you do! I have a 2014 F-150 4wd Platinum with 5.0l engine with 211K miles. Never been in the shop for a problem, I've done all the scheduled maintenance and change the oil regularly. I haven't had to replace anything other than the battery. I occasionally tow a couple of ATVs on a trailer and I do make some long distant trips back to Virginia occasionally (1100 miles). I really like the truck but I am getting concerned about the reliability. There's no way in Hades I'm going to pay for a new one at current price levels. I'm thinking it will be far less expensive to repair if /when something breaks. How long can I expect it to run? Do you think I should hold on to it or replace it? What do you recommend for a replacement? Thank you!

If you've never changed the transmission fluid, your days may be numbered, unfortunately. Save up for a remanufactured transmission from Ford.
No one can say how much life it has left. I would keep what you have and repair as needed, probably way cheaper than buying a new truck. Continue with the maintenance as you have been doing. Probably not a bad idea to set aside $10,000 or so for future repairs (say a transmission replacement and other items).

If even remotely interested in replacing it just get a used Tundra with the V8.
