Basically, for 20-30 mins atleast once in 2 weeks.

I’m curious to hear others thoughts.  Assuming one isn’t doing thing anything extra to the car.

My guideline is at least once a week for about 20-30 minutes to keep the battery charged. Maybe every two weeks, if your car doesn’t have much electronics. Maybe a little more often if the car has a lot of electronics. And maybe driving in the freeway at least once every other month, if those drives aren’t on the freeway.

I had a friend that had a top of the line BMW with all the fancy electronics. She would only drive it 5 minutes to work, and 5 minutes home. And the battery died every few weeks, because it wasn’t enough time for the battery to charge.
