Hi my name is John I have a 1995 Chevy camaro Z28 I've own it since 1997 I have only 62,000 original miles on it its been in storage off n on 4 years well here's my ? I've asked multiple people n no one can give me a answer my transmission which is automatic 4l60e when I drive it while in 1st gear it will not shift into 2nd gear unless I give it throttle preety hard sometimes not hard throttle but as soon as I release my foot from the gas pedal n hit it again it will shift 2 2nd gear all the other gears r fine its the weridest thing can someone help???
Well that's exactly how those things wear out. They act just like that but you have really low mileage. So I would say change the fluid and filter and put in one quart of Lucas automatic transmission additive and often that will fix it with 200 mi of driving as it cleans itself
