planning to remove my fuel injectors, i can tell there is alot of youtube videos in this matter, so what is the best product to use to clean it. injectors are 12 years old and maybe some can be stuck open/closed. my car runs, i can reverse i can accelerate. only problem is, a little hesistation when i give it a little bit of gas, but i i give it gas by pressing on the pedal half way or more i have no issue. thanks please post links or whatever worked for you. iam planning to purchase new fuel injectors but i rather clean them first just to make sure the new ones will work.

Any petroleum based cleaner is safe to use. If you have a proper flow test done you will be able to see if they are working properly.... likely though since you said it is only when pressing on the throttle lightly it is a simple vacuum leak or cam/crank sensor issue. The fuel injectors would usually give a problem no matter how hard you throttle.

Also a throttle position sensor is notorious for not throwing a code but will cause hesitation issues similar to what you described.

@cjbman
interesting, i havent removed my throttle position sensor yet. iam planning to and ive watched a couples of videos, if i clean it inside the tps it wont damage the gears? whats the reccomended spray cleaner if i happen to have a very dirty TPS, there is actually gears inside my TPS. let me know

I had toyota prado with a 2.7l 3rz. It would hesitate when i put my foot down. It was the throttle position sensor. Also it would not start properly after being stopped for short periods. Say 10 mins. This was caused by dribbling injectors. I fitted second hand injectors that had been cleaned and problem solved.

thats the big enchilada, when injectors are clean they suppose to remain clean atleast for a few months i was thinking just submerging the bottom part(NOT THE PINS/PLUG) and just let them soak overnight. i watched scotty youtube video on fuel injectors and they have a coil inside and that can be stuck with debris inside, the method is by not removing them. will removing them help me clean them 10000%, i really want them super clean. i guess i will use an anticorrosion product to really clean them. i will come back with results. ill try the TPS first. thank you alot for the tips

Pressure cleaning is the best way. Here is Scotty’s video on this with the products and tools he recommends.

i dont have that machine he uses, they a bit expensive. personally i would rather remove them and make sure they are more than clean. how do you clean your injectors?

@reddevil1321
I take it to an independent mechanic to have them cleaned. Rarely I take it to dealerships if I have to get it done on a Saturday. You could try Chevron Techron first to see if it helps.

thing is, i already used 7 bottles of seafoam, and it looks like it removed alot of carbon buildup, i checked when i removed my oxgen sensors, they where soaked in carbon buildup, cleaned now, possibly this carbon buildup got my injectors clogged. DOES ANYONE HERE RECCOMEND I PURCHASE BOSCH AFTERMARKET INJECTORS? THEY are cheaper than buying original? bosch's cost the same as having my old injectors cleaned? any good advice
