Hey i have a Chevrolet HHR 2006 2.4L automatic. So recently i took my HHR to my father’s mechanic to fix my transmission, when he finished and wanted to test drive it he couldn’t get it to start because the security system was on/activated. He’s been struggling to get the problem fixed. But so far nothing. Its about to be 2 weeks now on Saturday where he hasn’t figured out how to fix it. He has put a new fuse box on it, but the security system is still active. He said he has also disconnected the battery, i don’t know for how long exactly, but that didn’t work. He said he also tried a couple of methods that he found on youtube like putting in the key to the on position and leaving there for 10 min for three times. But he says that also didnt work. And to be honest i feel like he dont really know what he’s doing when it comes to computer. Do you know how to fix this problem?
I forgot to mention that also my hatchback door wont open even if i unlock the car. The interior lights aren’t turning on. But the radio and everything else is working. So i dont know if it could be the battery or bcm
They're actually guys who sell systems that will disable those just Google and you'll see people sell systems that you can bypass the NFL systems they're not all that expensive if you want to do it yourself
