How to fix curb rash?

I got a curb rash on my gloss alloy wheels. Different places I called were telling me they would sand the whole rim and then repaint it which for me did not seem like a good idea given it would be taking off the factory paint from the rest of the rim when it is actually fine. So was wondering if anyone here knows how I can fix just the area of the curb rash myself? Picture included below!

To clarify it's not only the paint which has been affected, some of the metal has been scraped off too so there are dents in there and not all surfaces are even. Also, I want to fix it as best as possible so it would not show.

jiffy marker

Some of the metal has been scraped off too so the whole surface is not even. Also, I want to do as clean of a job as possible so probably not going to color it with a marker

Then you’re looking at a massive expense of repainting..

As much as I hate it on my vehicles, I’ve just learnt to live with it.

It can't tell if it is flat black or gloss, but I would just buy some touch up paint. It will not be perfect but much cheaper than redoing the whole wheel.

As I stated in my initial post it is gloss wheel. And also it is not only the paint that is gone but some of the metal so want to be able to fill up those places and then yes find paint that is close color to it.

You can uses putty and sand it down or buy lip tape that will cover it. It comes in various colors.   See attached link. https://parts.olathetoyota.com/blog/how-to-fix-rock-rash
