Toyota replaced the rear Emergency Brake Cable ($$$) on my 2010 Rav4 AWD, and said it was all ok, but when got home to my steep driveway, and put on the Emerg brake (in N), the car slid back into the road !!
Took it back to them & they fiddled with the "Star Adjuster" and said it was fine, later, it still slides back into the road.
What is wrong here, what don't they know how to do it,
and How do I fix this ?
( I did not see any Emerg brake repair videos on your YouTube Ch. on a Star Adjuster fix.)
Please help !

it's wrong that shop returns the car to you without even testing it.

You don't . They do. a real fix requires proper diagnosis. Something I can't do through the internet. If you paid them for a working parking brake, then they owe you a working parking brake. It's as simple as that. Ask for someone more senior. And then never set foot in this shop again. (the stealership would have been my last option in the first place anyway)
